Please note that significant changes have been introduced to the award criteria for this scheme. This is mainly to do with the amount of broadcasters involved. This criterion will now only contribute to 40% of the overall assessment of the project. Please also note that the maximum amount of support for creative documentaries has been reduced to €300,000 (still up to 20% of the production budget).

The i2i Audiovisual scheme supports production companies that bear the costs of bank financing and/or associated insurance and completion bonds costs. The award criteria of the scheme have been changed as follows: beneficiaries of MEDIA Development Slate Funding no longer receive an extra 10 points. This has been replaced with Single Project beneficiaries receiving 10 points. Also the requirement for the bank to be a partner of the EIB has been abandoned, so an agreement with ANY bank will result in scoring 10 points.
